Currently, I am studying a Chemisty masters degree at’ The University Of Sheffield’, England.
In my third year of study, i will take part in an erasmus exchange programme, which i have been arranging this week. As I am studying Spanish as part of my degree, I will spend my erasmus year in Spain, and i have chosen to study at ‘La Universidad de Sevilla’ . The university is situated in the hottest part of Spain, in the Spanish region of Andalucia.
Seville is a very beautiful city, typically Spanish with a large river running through the centre. Seville hosts ‘La Feria’ each year, a big out door party which attracts many. The ladies all dress up in Flamenco , and it is something quite spectacular to see.
I will be studying Chemistry at the univerity, and have today chosen which modules i want to study, as follows-
1110016 – Química Inorgánica II – 9 créditos
1110017 – Bioquímica – 13 créditos
1110018 – Experimetación en Síntesis Inorgánica – 7.5 créditos
1110019 – Experimetación en Síntesis Orgánica – 7.5 créditos
1110020 – Ingeniería Química – 9.5 créditos
1110022 – Análisis Instrumental – 7.5 créditos
The prospect of studing Chemistry in Spanish looks quite daunting, but I’m looking forward to challenge this opportunity presents!
Over the next few weeks i will finalise my placement, and then all that will be left to do will be to learn Spanish!
