Nació en Malaga, Andalucia en 1960, José Antonio Domínguez Banderas (más bien conocido a Antonio Banderas)es actor con una fama internacional. Hijo de un poilicía y una professor, con un hermano se llama Francisco. Cuando era pequeño, él quería ser futbolista professional. Desafortunademente, a los 14 años, tuvó un accidente y rompó el pie, y por consiguiente su sueño terminó. Después, decidió ir a Madrid para empezar de nuevo, y empezó una carrera en la industría del cine en 1979. Al principio, trabaja en los teatros pequeños durante el época de Movida, y más tarde trabajaba con una director de cine se llama Pedro Almodóvar,de 1982 hasta 1990. Tuvó poco éxito con las películas tal como ‘Laberinto de pasiones’ (1982), ‘Matador’ (1987), ‘La ley del deseo’ (1987), y ‘Mujeres al borde de un ataque nervios’ (1988). En su ultíma película con Pedro Almodóvar, ‘¡Átame!’ (1989), era un gran éxito, y immediatemente se mudó de casa a Los Estados Unidos, para trabajar en Hollywood. Durante muchos años, Antonio Banderas ha representado muchos papeles diferentes, por ejemplo, de ‘Zorro’ en ‘La Máscara del Zorro’, a el gato en ‘Shrek’. Ahora mismo, Banderas ha salida en casi setenta películas, ha ganado muchos premios y es el primer y uníco español haber ido nominado a los Globos de Oro, a los Premios Tony y a los Premios Emmys. Antonio Banderas se divorció de su primera mujer, Ana Leza, en 1996. Después de divorciarse, mientras rodando la película de ‘Two Much’, Banderas conozcó su segunda mujer, Melanie Griffith, a quien también es actriz. Juntas tienen una hija, Stella del Carmen Banderas Griffith, y trabaja en el mismo industría de sus padres. Banderas habla Español con un accento andaluz, pero con sus películas de Hollywood, los dobla a Español con un accento castellano.
